House rules / General terms and conditions
In the regulations below you will find the house rules and general terms and contitions that apply tot he event site and related areas (including the parking lot, Agrobaan, Jan Poelsweg) of Pullingdays Ysselsteyn. You are obligates to adhere to these rules. In the event of violation of any house rule or any other form of misconduct, the police may be notified immediately and without regard tot he person, and acces may also be denied or removal from the event. You may be denied acces by any volunteer/staff member of Pullingdays Ysselsteyn. By visiting the festival, you (tacitly) accept these rules. If these rules do not provide for something, the organization has a decisive vote.
1.Follow staff instructions
Always follow the instructions of the volunteers/staff members of Pullingdays Ysselsteyn. If the regulations do not provide for something, the volunteers/staff members have the final say. If a staff member decides that you are denied access to the site, you are not entitled to a refund of the ticket prices.
2.Drinking by volunteers
Bar volunteers and managers are not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages during their (bar) shift. All other volunteers, provided they have reached the legal drinking age, may consume alcoholic beverages in very moderate quantities.
3.Acces
There is no minimum age for access to the event. Visitors must be able to identify themselves at all times with a valid ID. Visitors under the age of 12 will only be admitted if accompanied by an adult.
3a. Entrance tickets and catering vouchers
It is prohibited to resell entrance tickets to third parties and/or to provide them to third parties in any way for or in the context of commercial purposes. Entrance tickets that have been purchased will not be taken back and are only valid for the edition stated. Catering vouchers that have been purchased will not be taken back/are not exchangeable. Changes to the programming are reserved.
3b.Searches/Access control
At the entrance to the site and/or related areas, you may be subjected to a check. You are required to cooperate with this check. This check is set up to protect everyone in connection with general safety. You may also be asked for your identification. It is not permitted to bring your own food and drinks onto the festival site. Your own food and drinks may be confiscated, without the right to a refund. Pets are not permitted
4.Weapons
Using or carrying any weapons is strictly prohibited. In case of violation, you will be asked to hand in the weapon(s), without the right to return and the visitor will be handed over to the police.
5.a.Drinking
It is not permitted to bring your own drinks to the competition grounds. Non-alcoholic drinks may be brought to the campsite, for personal use only. The organisation adheres to the regulations as stated in the Drank- en Horecawet; among other things: visitors to Pullingdays Ysselsteyn are not permitted to consume alcoholic drinks if they have not yet reached the legal drinking age. The organisation is obliged to determine the legal age; in case of doubt, identification is required. Persons under the influence of alcohol will be refused entry. Alcohol will NOT be provided to drunk persons (to be determined by the organisation). A sanction imposed on Pullingdays Ysselsteyn due to a violation of the Drank- en Horeca wet will be recovered from the actual offender. (for example, someone who has not yet reached the age of 18 who is caught consuming alcoholic drinks or a visitor who passes on alcoholic drinks to someone who is not yet 18 years old).
5.b.Smoking
There is a smoking ban in the tents at the event. Smoking is NOT allowed in the tents. Any damage caused by a violation of the smoking ban as referred to in the Tabakswet will be recovered from the smoker in question.
6.Drugs
The consumption, use, trading or possession of any substances that affect the state of mind in or around the site is strictly prohibited. If drugs are found on a visitor, they will be confiscated immediately and the organization may decide to deny the visitor access to the site or, if the visitor is already inside, to remove him from the site.
In the event of possession of large quantities of drugs and/or suspicions/detection of dealing, the visitor will be handed over to the police.
7.Unwanted intimacies
Unwanted intimacies are not tolerated at Pullingdays Ysselsteyn. NO means NO.
8.Racism
No form of racism or discrimination is tolerated at Pullingdays Ysselsteyn.
9.Agression
Aggression is not tolerated at Pullingdays Ysselsteyn. So tone it down
10.Waste Waste must remain within the event area. Waste must be deposited in the designated waste bins. We keep it clean together.
11.Gatherings
We reserve the right to immediately deny access to the festival to those gathering if we suspect that there is a gathering.
12.First Aid / EHBO
There is a first aid / EHBO post.
13.Fire safety
We have fire instructions available for inspection. In any case, do not panic in the event of fire and warn us immediately.
14.Image and/or sound recordings
It is possible that during your visit to Pullingdays Ysselsteyn cameras are used and/or sound recordings are made. Everyone who visits Pullingdays Ysselsteyn agrees (tacitly) to the making of recordings. In case of emergency, these recordings can be shown to third parties as supporting material. Visitors also agree (tacitly) that these recordings can be used for promotional purposes.
It is not permitted to make image and/or sound recordings of Pullingdays Ysselsteyn public without prior written permission from NTTO and Pullingdays Ysselsteyn.
14.a.Advertising
Any form of advertising before, during and after the event in and around the location is not permitted without the permission of the organization.
15.Property and damage
a. It is prohibited to take our property outside the building or the related area; this also includes leftover food and drinks. In case of damage to our property, you are liable for the repair and/or replacement costs. Damage (including disappearance of goods) caused by visitors/volunteers to third parties or to a contracting party of Pullingdays Ysselsteyn will be recovered from the actual person who caused the damage. This also includes damage to equipment caused by, for example, throwing drinks.
b. Organisation Pullingdays Ysselsteyn, their board and committee members and their volunteers accept no liability, on any grounds whatsoever, for damage incurred and/or disappearance of property on and around the festival site. This exclusion also applies to more serious forms of damage such as death and serious injury and also applies to immaterial damage.
16.Lost and found
You must hand in any found items to us. We will then do everything within our power to return these items to their rightful owner(s).
17.Clothing
Your clothing should look neat. In case of doubt, the organization or volunteer of Pullingdays Ysselsteyn will decide.
18.Parking/bicycle storage
You must park your vehicle/bicycle in the designated places in such a way that third parties are not inconvenienced. If you do not comply with this, you are at risk that your vehicle/bicycle will be removed. Parking is only permitted in the designated places. Parking your vehicle/bicycle is at your own risk.
19.Parc-Ferme en competition courses
The competition courses and the parc-ferme are prohibited for unauthorized persons. Visitors along the course must remain completely behind the barriers.
20.Open fires
Open fires are prohibited, with the exception of the use of a barbecue in the riders' quarters and camping area.
21.Camping
The following additional rules apply at the campsite.
21.a. Vehicles
Motorized vehicles, with the exception of campers with a maximum length of 7 meters, are not allowed on the camping site. Cars are parked on the visitors parking lot after parking your caravan, trailer tent or camper. During the event, a car is not allowed on the camping site.
21.a. Tents, caravans, folding trailers and campers
Tents, caravans, folding trailers and campers are permitted provided they are approved and within the allowed size. Any other type of overnight accommodation is not permitted. Sleeping in a vehicle other than that specified above is not permitted. Sleeping outside the camping site is also not permitted.
21.b. Generators
Portable generators up to a maximum of 7.5 kVA are permitted on the campsite. However, the distance between the generator, your neighbour's tent and your tent must be at least 3 metres.
21.c. Opening hours
The campsite is open from Friday 19 September 13:00 to Sunday 21 September 19:00. Outside these times, camping is not permitted. The campsite is only accessible to visitors in possession of a camping ticket and a camping spot ticket for a tent, caravan, trailer tent or camper. Visitors with a day ticket or weekend ticket cannot use the campsite.
21.d. Tickets
Camping tickets are sold online. So there is no sales at the door. In addition to a camping spot ticket for your tent, caravan, trailer tent or camper, every visitor must be in possession of a camping ticket. This ticket also gives access to the competition area and the party tent for the entire weekend.
21.e. Camping site
A camping site is intended for caravans, campers, trailer tents or a large tent. The dimensions of the site are 5x10m. A camping site costs €50 per site.
21.f. Facilities
There are showers and toilets on the campsite. There is no electricity.
21.g. Food and drinks
You may bring food and drink to the campsite for your own use, with the exception of alcoholic beverages.
22.Sound
Pullingdays Ysselsteyn regularly produces more than 85 DB(A) of sound. The Pullingdays Ysselsteyn organisation, its board and committee members and its volunteers accept no liability for any adverse consequences that may occur to your hearing. Your stay at Pullingdays Ysselsteyn is therefore entirely at your own risk.
Amplified music systems are not permitted. Only portable Bluetooth speakers with a maximum capacity of 60 watts.
You may produce sound from 07:00 to 01:00. You will be warned once by security. The sound source will then be confiscated. You can collect this after the weekend upon presentation of your ID.
23.Complaints
If you have any complaints of any kind, you can report them to our board. Complaints should always be reported immediately after they arise, failing which your right to complain will lapse.
24.Dutch law and Dutch court
All disputes between the Parties arising from or related to the House Rules/General Terms and Conditions will be submitted to the competent civil court.
25.Before either Party submits a dispute to the court for assessment, the Parties shall attempt to resolve the dispute exhaustively by means of problem-solving negotiations. If the Client is a party acting in the exercise of a profession or business, the Parties shall attempt to resolve the dispute exhaustively at a high management level by means of problem-solving negotiations.
26.The parties will regard any dispute arising between them as strictly confidential and will not make any statements about it to third parties.
27.The above provisions of Artikel 23 shall remain in force even after the termination of the Agreement.
Organisation and volunteers Pullingdays Ysselsteyn 10-06-2025
